Happy National Novel Writing everyone!
I bet most of you guys have heard about this event for a long time now and have been actively participating every year. That's awesome!
For some of you who aren't familiar with this event, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. It's been running for like 15 years now. Basically, the purpose of this is to give way to those promising and aspiring writers or anyone who has always been into writing novels. Fun and cool, huh? I know.
So, how does it actually work? Well, you just have to have the will and passion to write a novel that has 50,000 words in just a span of 30 days or the whole month of November. The great part here is that you earn badges! You earn a badge for simply participating. Not only that, you could actually get to talk to published authors. It's actually a good thing because the writer is given such motivation, inspiration and they are able to know how to improve themselves.
What's not to like?
