ANNE WNDR HAULS: SINGAPORE AUTHENTIC PRODUCTS!

It's not exactly a secret that a lot of people are obsessing over online shopping. I must admit, I belong to those "a lot of people".  I mean, how can we not love shopping online? It's the definition of convenience and most of the time, it's a lot cheaper.

This is not my first time to try it out but it's definitely my first time to shop makeup products online. And this time, I chose to try out makeups that look exactly like the real ones. I don't know if I can call them dupes but most people just call them Singapore Authentic Makeup Products. They are waaay cheaper than the actual ones. Buying them will be like getting 70% discount or more. So it's not a surprise that people are hooked!

I follow a few online stores on Instagram and I came across to this store called MakeupHolics or something. Below are the products that I got for a discounted price. They are the "Beginner's Set" and they only cost P900 + sf of P99.

It's just really sad that I wasn't able to choose the shade of this foundation. I used it once and it's really creamy which is perfect for contouring but a no-no for those who are oily-skinned like me. They kinda leaves your face greasy.

This dipbrow pomade is the main reason I ordered online. I've been wanting to get my hands on the ABH dipbrow pomade so when I learned that there's this one from Singapore, I was psyched.

I really like this product because there's the consistency that I am looking for and the shade is just right. Not too dark. The only downside for pomades is that they tend to harden which is a deal breaker so what I do is I put a small drop of sunflower oil and to be honest, it works absolutely great with it. I don't have an elixr so I just use the only beauty oil that I own.

It comes with a spoolie brush but I kinda lost it. It's actually the perfect brush because it's thin and just the right size.

The logo of ABH kinda faded away and I'm guessing this does not happen to the real one.

These are my first-ever lip creams and I am just so in love with the shades. I actually bought the ABH from a store in a mall and the rest are from online. And dang, the smell of these lip creams are incredible. They smell like chocolate. I am addicted to their smell.

My most favourite is the ABH. It's in the shade Crush and it's the perfect medium pink lip cream. It looks like a blushing pink but when you apply it, it looks like a combination of pink and plum. It gets darker actually.

The next one is the Nyx Lingerie in the shade Exotic. I love it too. When I ordered it, I kinda thought that it's a bit paler kind of a nude but it's not. It's actually a bit brownish with a combination of plum too. Just a tiny hint of plum and it's gorgeous on my lips especially than I'm a little bit of tan-skinned person so it fits perfectly.

The other lip cream is the L.A Girl Matte in the shade 02. This one for me is way more on the darker side. I wasn't able to pick the shade. This shade is the default shade in the set so I have to deal with it. It's not really disappointing because I love it too. It has a a tiny bit of a similarity to the Nyx' Exotic shade but a tad more darker. It's almost like it's plum for me but most people would say it looks like a brown shade.

This one came as a surprise for me. I've been hearing about this Kissproof product. It's a like a crayon kind of a lipstick. It's in the shade 12 and it's totally plum to violet kind of shade. When I got it I really thought it was broken or something because I tried to use it like a regular lipstick where I twist the end part to see how long it is and it didn't work. I later learned from the merchant that like a pencil, I have to use this giant sharpener which I didn't get with it. Sucks,

I have nothing bad to say to these lip creams because they're gorgeous and they don't fade away easily which is harder when you try to remove them especially with water.

This paddle brush is perfect for concealing your under eye and for contouring because of how small it is. It's actually my first time to use this because I'm not really crazy about these paddle brushes and it just came with the set. For this one, it glides smoothly on my face. The bristles are soft and it's so easy to wash.

But if anyone asks me if I prefer this to the regular brush and beauty blender, I'd say I'll stick the old fashion brush and sponge because I'm just really not used to using this.

I have nothing against products like these that totally copies the real ones because let's be honest, the real version of these ones are just so expensive and buying these version is like the practical way. But we just really have to be extremely cautious with these products since they are just copies (lol.) and we really don't know what is in them and they could really harm our skin bigtime especially for the sensitive ones like me.

I still suggest that you guys buy the real ones or if they are too expensive for your budget, try looking for the dupes. Remember, it doesn't matter what brand of makeup you use, what matters is that you know how to do makeup.

ANNE WNDR SHOPS: MINISO MNL & MINI HAUL

I just spotted another shop around the Metro that will make all Uniqlo and Daiso/Japan Home lovers fall in love with.

The whole vibe inside makes me feels as if I just stepped in Uniqlo. The lighting and the logo, I mean, c'mon. And the prices? Completely affordable and so worth it.

I spent most of the shopping time here :)

For makeup lovers, this is our perfect hangout spot inside the shop. It's basically just at the entrance so we won't have a hard time finding them. They sell affordable makeup products that no one can ever resist. This shelf also consists facial products (toners and facial wash), nail polishes and perfumes. Their perfumes screams Kawaii in my opinion.

Based on my observation, all products ranges from P99 to less than P500.

Those phone cords are P99!

They have all sorts of knickknacks that you can choose from. There are products for your gadgets, accessories, undergarments, hair and face products, home products and etc.

They have cute bags too that I wasn't able to take pictures of. They're like less than P500. I was in a tight budget and my whole goal was just to check the makeup so I wasn't able to buy those bag but if I wasn't, I would definitely buy a bag or two.

Below are the products that I was able to get my hands on and dang, I love their classic black packaging.

This Gel Eyeliner wasn't in the plan but I've always wanted to own one and since it's so cheap (It's P199. I know!), I wasn't able to resist getting it.

I just didn't understand the packaging. It looks like as if what inside is a bottle or something. It doesn't make much sense to me because I think the whole point of having this kind box is to just make room for the eyeliner brush.

It's quite very pigmented at first. Small amount could go a long way. But I feel like it's too watery. I applied it and it didn't have the consistency that I expected. When it turns to dry, it kinda fades away.

I seriously hate this brush because I tried using it but it didn't work as planned. It didn't give me a precise and on fleek wing but rather, it turned out to be messy. It's obviously not the right brush for eyeliners. It's not thin and it would much rather be fit to be an eye shadow applicator.

Gel Eyeliner P199.00

This is my most favourite of all the products that I bought. This is like a Holy Grail for me. This makeup remover is water base and I am simply in love with it. The fact that it's water base it does not feel greasy. It smells like soap, actually and it glides perfectly on the skin (if that makes any sense).

It completely removes any signs of makeup. I've experienced some makeup removers that just don't work but this one really does. It can remove stubborn makeup products. I'm using Nichido mascara and it does not remove easily but when I used this, one swipe and it's all gone. It's the kind of magic that I've always been looking for in a makeup remover.

This magic Makeup Remover is only P149.00

I also got me a mascara. It's supposed to be a waterproof-strong-hold-kind of a mascara. I only have used it once but I gotta tell you, it's amazing. The brush is so light like it could easily bend. It glides on my lashes perfectly. It really does lengthen it and it doesn't make my lashes clump. Although it would be nice if it could give my lashes an added volume too.

When I washed my face (I forgot to use a makeup remover first, sorry), it didn't run down easily, it did not give me much black eye bags and I was able to remove the mascara completely by lightly pulling it off from my lashes. It's actually like removing glue on your skin, literally. I actually preferred it more than the other waterproof mascara I've used because this one is a real waterproof one.

Waterproof Mascara is only P99.00

Last but definitely not the least, I got lippies! I am the kind of person that can never leave a makeup store without buying a lipstick. It's like a sick beautiful habit. Lol.

What I love about these lipsticks are the consistency and how pigmented they are. And c'mon, I found one of the perfect nudes and pinkish, coral one. I'm in love.

The nude one looks so good on me. I'm a morena or lightly tanned skin and it works for me. There are nude lipsticks that are hard to match on my skin tone so I was really happy to finally found this one.

And the coral one matches my skin too. It's perfect for when I just wanna go hangout with my friends or have a few drinks and stuff. It's flirty and fun.

The packaging is so cute. It reminds me of a lego. I don't know why.

What just turns me off on these is the smell. They smell like chemical. I hate it so much. I can smell the chemical whenever I put it on but I'm just so glad that it does not stick when it's applied because it would really piss me off bigtime to smell chemical on my lips wherever I go.

ANNE WNDR EATS: LEANN'S TEA HOUSE

"Food tastes better when you eat with your friends."

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that craves for Korean food every now and then. But the thing is, going Korean doesn't always scream "cheap". That's why it was a great relief to finally find affordable restaurants around the Metro that doesn't dig holes in our pockets.

It was actually the first time I've seen my best friend again after we graduated from college and that was like, months ago. We're not like the other Bffs that splurge too much on food or travel. We rarely go out to eat and shop and whenever we do, we really make sure that we spend our money wisely. So, yes, you can call us buzzkills or "kuripot" but that's just us and besides, we spent our first salary here. Well, not all of it, of course.

Leann's Tea House is not your mainstream Korean restaurant. When I first saw it on a food website, I thought it was a typical Chinese tea house. It doesn't really sound Korean to me and it didn't entice me on the first glance either. We were actually considering a place where we can just hangout and chitchat, and she was really persistent to find a place where there's milkshake.  I had quite a few restaurants that I was considering apart from it but what made me wanna push the idea of dining here was the good reviews. It's not just about looking for an artsy or instagram-worthy or a popular kind of a restaurant, I'm pretty focused on the taste of the food, the services and if the prices are reasonable. Compared to the other restaurants that it was in competition with, it really captured a lot of customers because as far as I can remember, I didn't read any bad reviews about it.

We had a little hard time searching for it in the city because it's not a restaurant that stands out too much. It's actually like a hidden treasure that you really have to look closely in order to find it. It was kind of a turnoff for me when we reached it because there is not much parking space available even though they said that they have a private parking. I know that I only got to park my car that time because we went there before lunch time. And there was only one space available.

The facade is too small that's why I believe they have small parking space. Going inside, it's a small space too, there's a group table in the corner, almost too close to the stairs which is not good and there wasn't any staff that welcomed us. We actually thought we weren't in the right place because we didn't see much tables and we actually had to call out to someone to help us out. Apparently, there's a much bigger room upstairs which houses more tables. The stairs is too steep for me.

When we came upstairs, there was like few people, actually just a small group. So, we were able to choose a good spot. We actually didn't expect it to be almost empty because I saw on the website that we have to make a reservation because it's always packed. It wasn't a bad thing actually. We preferred it more to be almost empty.

The place is nice. It's cozy and it feels like home. I can't explain why but it sure does. The waiter was accommodating and nice. My best friend and I were quite loud during that time, we were laughing like crazy, you know,  typical best friends catching up and not once did he make us stop or showed a sign of annoyance. Plus, after the group ate, we were alone. So, yay!

There's not much food to choose from but that's alright because it made it easy for us to pick. If there were many choices, we would probably take too long deciding.

We ordered the foods that are recommended by the people that dined there before. They had a few appetizers. There was a small serving of mashed potato, kimchi, chili covered lettuces and Toge(Bean Sprout).

Tonkatsu Kimbap - P250.00

This is my favourite. Its the Tonkatsu Kimbap. I read that it was amazing that was why we ordered it and I am really obsessed with Tonkatsu. It tasted good although I really wanted to taste more Katsu. This only cost P250 and it's more than enough for two people. It could probably be good for three people or depending on how much you guys eat.

Bulgogi Kimbap - P170.00

This one tastes so good. Another favourite. It's the Bulgogi Kimbap and it only cost P170 and again, it's more than enough for two people but with us, we need more. I could eat this all day. I was just disappointed that only two rolls had the fruit. Sad but still yummy.

We also had the Spicy Chicken which cost P210. Not really worth ordering, It tasted so ordinary. I'm sure it tasted like tocino with sesame seeds. For drinks, I had Acapulco Breeze which cost P140 and Catalina Sunrise for her which cost P110. The Acapulco tasted so much like a banana shake. It's actually a combination of mango, banana and vanilla. I vaguely tasted the mango. My best friend definitely got obsessed with Catalina, it's a combination of strawberry, banana and mango. She said it tasted more like strawberry shake which in my opinion, is better.

Would I recommend this place? Yes, I would. In terms of price, it's perfect. We only spent like P800 all in all which I believe is a great deal already. The food may not be too perfect but it's worth the price and I definitely enjoyed it. The place is great for those who just wanna chill and talk but make sure to arrive at lunch time coz at around 5:30ish, it gets busy. I'll most probably go back here with my family next time.
