ANNE WNDR FAVOURITES: LIQUID LIPSTICKS

Who knew liquid lipsticks can be so dang obsessing?

Nowadays, liquid lipsticks are making such huge buzz everywhere. I've seen quite a few up and coming makeup lines that focused more on launching liquid lipsticks before any product and let me tell you, they only heighten my obsession.

But before gushing on and on, I'd like to clarify that this post is not, at all cost, sponsored by the products that will be mentioned. I'm just a fan and and an avid consumer like any of you.

Now back to gushing. I've been googling and looking through reviews on blogs and vlogs of the best brown and pink nudes, and after a long search, I couldn't be any happier to have them.

Lime Crime Velvetines: Bleached

One thing I've been looking for is a good rosy nude shade that would best fit me who, by the way, has a medium tone. Luckily, I learned about limecrimes from my all time favourite youtuber, Cosmobyhaley. She used it in one of her tutorials and since then, I've been nuts about it. It doesn't feel too heavy on the lips and it doesn't dry out too easily which is good for liquid lippie beginners like me who are still learning the art of perfectly applying it without the smudges and uneven application. The only downside of this product is that it's not easy to find because I believe that there are no direct sellers of this product. Thank god for Instagram!

Of all Limecrime shades, Bleached stole my heart. It is the perfect rosy nude hue that I have been looking for that actually suits my skin tone. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't stay too much on my lips. If I want it to stay longer, I have to prevent myself from drinking and eating or else, bye bye rosy nude lips.

Anastasia Beverly Hills: Milkshake & Dolce

I've mentioned it before how much I love the smell of these ABH and Nyx's liquid lippies. They smell divine and by divine I mean delicious. They smell like liquid chocolates. It takes so much self control for me to not lick my lips whenever I put them on.

I love the wand of ABH because I can easily apply the lipstick without fearing it being uneven on my lips. Like the lime crime, this, too, is also lightweight.

I love these shades a lot. Milkshake is like rosy nude shade, it is a little darker than Lime Crime Bleached but still gives the perfect subtle pink lips. I love matching it with my Maybelline Baby Lips Glow in Mixed Berry because the color pops out even more and  I can easily apply it on my lips because of the moisture. Dolce, on the other hand, is the lighter version of ABH's Crush. It looks a lot darker on medium tones like me compared to fair skin but I definitely love it a lot. I don't normally wear anything too darker on the daily basis but this one is an exemption. The darkness of it is not too out there on your face and it's really gorgeous.

In terms of how long they last on the lips, I can say it comes second to Nyx. It doesn't wear off too easily. I use these whenever I go out. I actually wore it when I visited CommunEATy food park and let me tell you, it lasted the whole night and I was eating and I even went out for a milktea after and it didn't smudge at all. Although there was a tiny hint of it on the straw,it looked totally intact on my lips. I didn't need to reapply which made it so recommendable.

Nyx Lingerie: Bedtime Flirt, Push Up & Baby Doll

These babies are my favourite brown nudes at the moment. They make look too light in the picture but they actually are not. It's probably the lighting. Anyway, what I love about these is that they stay all day and night even when I try washing them off, they don't come oout easily unless I use a makeup remover. They look marvelous on medium skin. There are shades that makes morena's lips too dull and dry but these doesn't.

My most favourite of the three is the Bedtime flirt. It's on the darker side of brown and I just love it. Bedtime flirt and Push up are like mauvey brown shades. It looks punky, if that's even a word. Baby doll on the other hand is way too lighter even for medium skin. But it actually works on me. I love how light the shade of it. It doesn't look like a concealer on the lips because trust me, there are shades like that but not this one.

Left to Right: Bleached, Dolce, Milkshake, Baby Doll, Push Up and Bedtime Flirt

Below are pictures of me wearing some of the liquid lipsticks. I would like to remind everyone that the color may not look as it should be because of the lighting. I used natural light and took these photos in different days.

ANNE WNDR EATS: COMMUNEATY FOOD PARK

Food Parks are my kind of parks.

Food parks are my guilty pleasures. Not only are they affordable but they are becoming homes of the best food stalls that serves delicious and Instagram-worthy foods.

Need I say more?

I had the chance to visit one of the newest and only food park in Tomas Morato with my bestfriend and I was delighted that it sits just around the neighborhood. How cool is that? This park is just along the Alejandro Roces Avenue so it wouldn't be hard to miss.

This place opens at 12 noon but my bestfriend and I took the risk to go here at around 5. We thought it would be completely packed with no place to sit anymore but we were really glad that we went just before people started coming.

If you're someone who lives near the neighborhood, I suggest you take the cab because there's not much parking space. The front of the food park can only accommodate few cars and if you're driving a jeep or SUV then you'll have even more hard time to fit it in.

I had to park my car few walks away and the road was too narrow so I got a little stuck before I was able to park properly. I also was a little anxious all throughout the night because there was no guard on the area where I parked my car and it was a little dark.

P.S. I really would like to applaud their Facebook page because they answer to queries really quick which helped a lot especially for a first time visitor like me. #Yay

This place got packed when we were about to go home at around 10. The bar is upstairs in an airconditioned room. We tried to get a seat upstairs just outside the bar but the security guard told us that it's exclusive for people who would drink. We could sit there and bring our food if we want but we have to buy something at the bar which we didn't do so off we went downstairs.

When we were able to secure a spot in the middle, which is the perfect spot because it is a lot cooler, literally cooler, we started food hopping.

TOKYO TEMPURA

The first food stall that caught our sight first was this little thing especially their banner that says ALL YOU CAN.  Not a big fan of shrimp but I am really down for some tempura madness especially with such low price.

But as much as we wanted to get our fix of unlimited tempuras, we didn't want to get full soon and would want to try other stalls too. So, we ordered the Tempura Bucket. It was delicious and addicting.  The downside for this  stall is that during our visit, the vendor told us that they don't have everything that is on the menu. The tempura duo, chili cheese and ika fry weren't available which sucks bigtime because we really were craving for some fried chilis and onion rings. But hey, I was not complaining with the tempura bucket.

EXO STREET

Next on the list is this little taste of street food. They have a variety of street foods and they also sell grilled corn cobs. We ordered barbecue for P60 a stick and it was good. Although I was expecting vinegar for the sauce, they gave us something else that could be a Mang Tomas. I can't really tell because I didn't taste it. Just really not perfect for barbecue.

I really like their concept of incorporating the infamous pedicab or bicycle because it really suits their theme. Almost as if they just arrived after maglako.

BARREL SMOKER

Here at the Barrel Smoker, we ordered their must-try and bestselling Pulled Pork Nachos. It was delicious and I love the amount of serving it has. It is perfectly good for 3 to 4 people for just an affordable price.

TAKORAISU

This stall satisfied my Japanese cravings. I had been craving for a maki and I was so glad their maki tasted so good although I was looking for the wasabi which seemed to be missing. It was also one of their bestsellers and I definitely know why. It's actually my favourite stall here. The maki only costed me P160 for six pieces.

PUESTO
Last but not the least on our list is this Mexican food stall. Just really sad I wasn't able to take a picture of the entire stall but hey, their props are so creative and colorful.

What we ordered and enjoyed here was the cheesy Quesadillas. The cheese was melting in the soft pita. It was just perfect.

We also ordered fish 'n chips from It's a Good Friday. Too bad I forgot to take a picture. Anyway, their fish was yummy. It melts in your mouth and the dip was good too.

Got us some pink lemonade for P50 to wash down our food. Just sad that they don't have enough stalls for drinks. Would be nice to have some shake.

All of these heavenly goodness treats only costed us P970.

 Tempura Bucket - P115
California Maki - P160
Pulled Pork Nachos - P165
2 Barbecues - P120
Quesadillas - P180
Fish 'n Chips - P130
2 Pink Lemonades - P100

We totally enjoyed going here and would most probably go back again and again and again.
